The Academy of Learning Career College’s Administrative Assistant diploma program develops the administrative, clerical and organizational skills that are needed to play a key role in virtually any office environment.     • Outlook – Level 1 (Intermediate Microsoft Outlook skills)
    • PowerPoint – Level 1 (Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint skills)

You will learn to perform administrative and clerical duties that assist with the overall function of your department, including preparing reports, scheduling appointments and drafting correspondence. We also provide job search and resume writing workshops to help you get on track for a successful and long-lasting career as an Administrative Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of administrative and clerical functions.
  • Prepares reports and assists with overall functions of department.
  • Requires above average word processing skills.
Admission Requirements for Administrative Assistant Diploma program

Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student Status.
Courses are open to any applicant who possesses a good command of the English language and is able to follow instruction.
Full-time students must attend the required hours per week as per the course schedule and may do so at times convenient to them.
