Founded in 2005 and supported by the Government of Canada, Windmill Microlending is a non-profit, registered charity that offers low barrier and easily accessible loans to skilled immigrants and refugees so they can obtain the credentials they need to work in Canada. Our clients can borrow up to $15,000 to finance most expenses related to their Canadian licensing. Skilled immigrants have an interest rate of 5.45%and skilled refugees have 0% interest.

The goal of this lending program is to allow immigrants and refugees the opportunity to acquire the education needed to practice their profession in Canada.
